Viewing E-Mail from Multiple Locations Using MS Outlook or Outlook Express

Start by opening Outlook or Outlook Express.

At the top of the screen, click on Tools

Then select Accounts.

A window called Internet Accounts will appear. Click on the Mail tab at the top of this window.

Select the Account you wish to set up.

Click on Properties.

Click on the "Advanced" tab at the top of the window.

At the bottom, there is a section labeled "Delivery."

Click on the box beside "Leave a copy of messages on server." to put a check mark into it. This will allow you to view your e-mail messages from a second location as well.

In order to avoid exceeding mail storage limits, simply put a check in the box below it, "Remove from server after 5 day(s)," as well.

You may also wish to check the third box, "Remove from server when deleted from "Deleted Items." That way if you delete messages in one location, you won't have to delete them again when you read mail in the second location.

If you have been advised by BerkshireNet that your mail is over 20 MB, and you have "Leave a copy of messages on server" already checked, then UN-checking and clicking OK will clear out your mail from your storage space. It is suggested to leave this un-checked unless you need to access your mail from multiple locations.

If you have any questions, please let us know. Thanks
